Dolphin and Whale Watching

The Katrin sails from the Marina at Los Gigantes in search of Dolphins and Whales.

This area North West of Los Gigantes contains the highest natural resources of Bottle Nose Dolphins in the world. They are very sociable creatures and will seek out the Katrin by following the sound of the engine.
The bow wave at the front of Katrin provides an irresistible playground for the Dolphins, it is a wonderful experience to watch them surf and race with the boat with such precision and speed.
Our cruise continues along the magnificent cliffs of Los Gigantes, here it is possible to see rare sea eagles, flying fish and Turtles.We stop for a while in Masca bay where there is an opportunity to swim in the cool clear waters. Finally we travel back to the Marina passing Baranco Seco and Echo Bay where there is the chance to catch a glimpse of the Dolphins once more..
It is important, however that you remember that dolphins are free spirits of the sea and are capable of swimming over great distances – occasionally they cannot be found! The thrill of seeing a dolphin leap out of the water unexpectedly is far greater than seeing an animal do the same trick in captivity..

There are 3 trips per day except Saturdays when the boat need to rest !!

1st trip sails at 11.30 (2 hours)
2nd trip sails at 13.45 (2 hours)
3rd trip sails at 16.00 (1hr 30 mins)

Please be sure you arrive at least 30 min before sailing time
